UV-LIGHT ESCALATOR SANITATION PART OF N.J. CASINO PLAN
Ultraviolet (UV) light sanitation for escalators, hotel rooms and restrooms are part of Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Resorts Casino Hotel’s “Play Safe, Work Safe” plan to reopen after COVID-19 restrictions are more fully lifted, the Stamford Advocate reports. An air-purification system and social distancing will also be implemented. The state has not set a reopening date for Atlantic City’s nine casinos, although other sectors of the state’s economy have dates, including nonessential retail, salons, barbershops and outdoor-dining establishments on June 15 and motor vehicle offices on June 29.
